The first three panels in the series Paper on Wood — 2011, mixed media on paper, 99 × 69 cm each — are now in private collections, two of which are in Rome. Together with the fourth piece still available, they form one of the most experimental series in the catalogue: the paper as a support lends the calligraphic gesture a lightness and permeability that wood does not allow.
