The Child, 2010 — a work created through the interplay of urban calligraphic gestures and figurative elements. The figure of the child emerges as a silent element within a surface marked by layers, erasures and traces of writing. The work maintains the direct tension between urban space and the inner dimension characteristic of Kende’s oeuvre. It is now in a private collection.
