Black and White Fight, 2025 — a work on wood built upon the radical contrast between black and white, where the calligraphic gesture becomes pure visual tension.

The expansive, textured surface creates a dynamic of clash and superimposition, whilst maintaining the direct language of contemporary urban calligraphy.

Created under request in 2025, the work forms part of Kende’s most recent exploration of the density of the mark and the construction of pictorial space.
